StudioQualia Fan Content Policy 

Welcome, StudioQualia fans and creators! We are incredibly grateful for your passion and creativity inspired by our works. This policy outlines how you can create and share fan-made content based on StudioQualia’s intellectual properties (IPs), including music, 3D models, characters, stories, and more.

 

0. Scope of This Policy & IP Ownership (Crucial Information)

 

This Fan Content Policy strictly applies only to intellectual properties (IPs) for which StudioQualia (or K4muiQualia, the individual creator) exclusively holds all copyrights and related rights. This includes original music, 3D models, characters, stories, and other creative works explicitly designated as StudioQualia’s wholly-owned IPs.

 

For any works created in collaboration with other artists, or for clients (client work), this policy DOES NOT apply.

 

Client Works & Collaborations are NOT eligible for fan creation under this policy. For such works, fan creation is generally prohibited unless explicitly stated otherwise by the respective client or collaborators. Any specific permissions for those works must be obtained directly from their primary rights holders.

 

StudioQualia reserves the right to clearly mark which works are covered by this policy. If a work is not explicitly marked as a StudioQualia wholly-owned IP eligible for fan creation, it should be assumed that this policy does not apply.

 

1. Our Core Philosophy: Creativity is Welcome!

 

At StudioQualia, we believe that fan creations are a vibrant and essential part of our community. We generally encourage and welcome fan-made content that enriches and expands the worlds we create. You are generally free to create and share fan content based on our IPs covered by this policy.

 

2. What You CAN Do (General Allowance):

 

You are generally permitted to create, share, and distribute fan-made content, including but not limited to:

 

Fan Art: Illustrations, comics, sculptures, cosplay photos, etc.

 

Fan Fiction: Stories, poems, scripts, etc.

 

Fan Music/Covers: Remixes, arrangements, instrumental covers, or vocal covers of our music.

 

Fan Videos/Animations: Short films, M.A.D.s, compilations, animations using our 3D models or characters.

 

Other Fan Creations: Games, mods, merchandise (see “Monetization” section).

 

3. What You MUST NOT Do (General Prohibitions):

 

To ensure a healthy and respectful environment for all, the following types of fan content are generally NOT permitted:

 

Official Misrepresentation: Content that falsely suggests it is official StudioQualia work, or endorsed/sponsored by StudioQualia, without explicit written permission.

 

Brand Defamation/Damage: Content that damages StudioQualia’s brand image, reputation, or directly infringes upon our commercial interests.

 

Illegal Activities: Content promoting or depicting illegal activities.

 

Unlicensed Commercial Use: (See “Monetization” section below for allowed commercial activities).

 

Harassment/Discrimination: Content that promotes harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc.

 

Excessive Political Content: Content that is overly or primarily political in nature, using our IPs to push specific political agendas, especially if it leads to excessive division or controversy.

 

4. R-18 and R-18G Content (Adult/Gore): Generally Permitted with Caveats

 

We generally permit the creation and sharing of adult-oriented (R-18) and grotesque (R-18G) fan content, provided it does not fall under the general prohibitions above (especially regarding harassment, discrimination, and excessive political content) and adheres to general decency standards.

 

Responsibility: Creators of R-18/R-18G content are responsible for ensuring it is appropriately tagged, age-gated, and distributed on platforms that comply with local laws and platform policies regarding adult content.

 

Viewer Discretion: Ensure clear warnings are in place for sensitive material.

 

5. Monetization (Commercial Use): Fan-Made Merchandise & More

 

We understand that creators may wish to be compensated for their work. You are generally permitted to monetize your fan content under the following conditions:

 

Small-Scale Monetization: Selling small quantities of fan-made merchandise (e.g., fan art prints, fan-made keychains, fan-created music albums) is generally permitted, as long as it does not imply official endorsement and your primary intention is not to compete directly with StudioQualia’s official products.

 

Advertisement Revenue: Monetizing fan videos (e.g., YouTube) through platform-provided advertising is generally permitted.

 

Clear Attribution: You must clearly state that your content is fan-made and not official, and provide clear credit to StudioQualia for the original IP.

 

No Impersonation: Do not use StudioQualia’s official logo or branding elements in a way that suggests your product is an official release.

 

6. Credit and Attribution:

 

Always provide clear and visible credit to StudioQualia as the original creator of the IP you are using. For example:

“Based on IP by StudioQualia” or “Original music/characters by StudioQualia.”

 

7. Specific Work Guidelines (Important Note):

 

While this policy applies broadly to all StudioQualia IPs covered by this policy, some specific works may have additional, stricter, or revised guidelines. These specific guidelines will be posted on the respective work’s individual information page or a dedicated policy page. In case of any conflict, the specific work’s policy shall take precedence over this general policy for that particular work.

 

Please check the relevant work’s page before creating content for it.

 

8. Disclaimer:

 

StudioQualia reserves the right to modify this Fan Content Policy at any time. We also reserve the right to request the removal of any fan content that we, in our sole discretion, deem inappropriate or in violation of this policy, regardless of whether it explicitly falls into a prohibited category.
